Forklift Truck Operator Training – Novice

Course Introduction

Course Introduction

Forklift Novice Training is a comprehensive program and provides individuals with the essential skills and knowledge to operate industrial forklift trucks safely and effectively. Importantly, the “off-the-job” training course meets the requirements of:

  • The Health and Safety Act 1974 and
  • The Health & Safety Executive’s “Approved Code of Practice L117” for Forklift Trucks.

Moreover, the course also achieves the RTITB accreditation criteria and successful candidates will be added to the National Operator Registration Scheme (NORS).

Thus, participants will gain a deep understanding of forklift truck operation, including:

  • Practical skills: Safe and efficient maneuvering, load handling, and inspection techniques.
  • Theoretical knowledge: Forklift truck components, operating principles, safety regulations, and emergency procedures.

Our expert instructors will guide you through a structured curriculum. Thereby, they ensure that you acquire the necessary competencies to operate forklift trucks responsibly and minimize the risk of accidents.

Therefore, the course is ideal for individuals who have no prior experience with counterbalance forklift trucks and are seeking to embark on a career in logistics or materials handling.
